VIEW: Shades of cherry to purplish
SCENT: Blackberries, cherries and figs, especially dehydrated and liquefied fruits. Bitter chocolate and a lingering note of tobacco are notorious, giving way to nuts such as dates and walnuts.
TASTE: Ripe fruit notes are perceived. As compotes and red fruit jams and dates.
PAIRING: A good cut of meat, poultry such as duck, chicken, quail, or a stew such as boeuf bourguignon, or a cold meat pizza, an arrabiata pasta.
